Mary Cantillo

Mary Cantillo is a Lending Associate with four years at Liston Newton Advisory and a strong background in financial services, including 3.5 years as a Loan Specialist at JP Morgan and 2 years as a Tax Analyst at Ernst & Young. Holding both a Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking and a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management, Mary brings strong technical expertise and a deep understanding of lending requirements to every application she supports.

She works closely with advisers, lenders, conveyancers, and clients to prepare loan applications, manage documentation, and keep approvals and settlements on track. Detail-oriented and highly organised, Mary approaches every client relationship with a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset taking the time to understand goals, communicate clearly, and ensure each application is handled accurately and in the client’s best interests.

Mary is motivated by problem-solving and seeing positive outcomes for clients, knowing her behind-the-scenes work plays a key role in smooth approvals and successful settlements. Her commitment to quality and consistency is reflected in the positive feedback clients regularly share.

Away from the day-to-day of lending, Mary enjoys singing, Netflix movie nights, discovering new places to eat, and heading out on road trips. Fun fact: her shoe size sat between 5.5 and 6 but changed from 6 to 7 after giving birth.
